The journey begins the day after your arrival in Pokhara, where a taxi will transport you to Nayapul. From there, a short trek alongside the river awaits, featuring multiple crossings of suspension bridges that add to the adventure. The following morning, you descend sharply to the river, cross another suspension bridge, and embark on an uphill climb towards Ulleri, Banthanti, and a captivating rhododendron forest before reaching Ghorepani. As you progress, the views become increasingly mesmerizing.
After a restful night in Ghorepani, an early morning ascent leads you to Poon Hill, a renowned destination in the Annapurna region. From Poon Hill, witness the spectacular sunrise illuminating the majestic mountains, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle.
From Banthanti to Tadapani, the trail takes you through enchanting rhododendron forests, especially vibrant during the spring season. Along the way, traverse river gorges and navigate winding stone staircases before reaching Tadapani. The following day, continue your journey along a forest trail, passing patches of maize and potato fields, until you reach Modi Khola. Descend further to Phedi and finally return to Pokhara, concluding the itinerary of Annapurna View and Adventure Trek.
In addition to the renowned trails, this trip also includes two days of thrilling rafting along the Seti River and an exploration of Chitwan National Park. Immerse yourself in the park’s wonders as you enjoy elephant back safaris, nature walks, canoe rides, bird watching, and witness the captivating Tharu stick dances. These adventurous additions enhance the Annapurna View and Adventure Trek, creating a truly unforgettable experience with Chamlang Expeditions.
Outline Itinerary
- Day 01: Arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer to the hotel.
- Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m). O/N in Pokhara.
- Day 03: Trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m).
- Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani (2,860m). O/N in Ghorepani.
- Day 05: Trek to Tadapani (2630m). O/N in Tadapani.
- Day 06: Trek from Tadapani to Landrung.
- Day 07: Trek to Dhampus (1950m).
- Day 08: Trek to Phedi (1000m) and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
- Day 09: Drive to Chitwan National Park. O/N in a Resort.
- Day 10: Day around the Chitwan National Park. O/N in a Resort.
- Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
- Day 12: Transfer to the International Airport and departure to your destination.
